Artist Adoration Sketches

Im going through a small project, Artist Adoration in which I go through and create something that is similar to an artist that I adore. So I decided to choose Android Jones as my artist of inspiration. As a start I decided to do an image based on the one of the cambodian folklores, Rahu.

It definitely took a few sketches before I got into the groove and felt pretty good about the sketch. Third sketch is the way to go!

Now to test out Android Jones method of creating amazing pieces of artwork.

I’ll probably be crying at the end of this.

Homework, Favorite animal?

Choose 4 favorite animals and do a few quick gestures? Well…that was a hard choice. SO I based it on who at the zoo wasnt moving all that much/couldnt see that well. Pallas cat, Komodo Dragon, Tiger and Kiwi.

04/03/2015 Zoo at CCAD!?

The zoo brought in animals to CCAD’s campus and I got to see some animals closer up. There was a pair of baby 5 month old hyenas that were sisters, an otter, serval cat and a penquin. I wasnt able to see the hyenas much since they were skittish but I got to see the otter, penguin and serval the most~

03/06/2015 Arnold

Mass post of gestures that I did while attending the Arnold Classic. I somehow found myself drawing more hula hoopers and pole dancers than actual beefy men. I’m not exactly sure how that happened. Not really. But by all means it was great. I enjoyed their movements immensely.

Homework Prompt! Werewolf.

Prompt was Werewolf! And since werewolves popped up around the same time that witches came to be, I thought what the heck, have a witchy wolf. Of course, this came to me while I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do in the first place.

In Class Session 02/13/2015

These pictures are terrible and I’m starting to regret having a large sketchbook due to scanning issues. But I’ll scan it regardless and replace these pictures.

Anyhow, class sessions involved more human gestures as well as animals in preparation of the wolves that are coming.
